My passion for the Lord comes from a placing of knowing Him and wanting to know Him even more. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 21 years old. While the commitment was sincere, I knew very little about Jesus and I didn't believe I had any worth in God's eyes. I traveled some rough roads until I met Jesus at 21 and those roads didn't get any smoother because I didn't understand how to be in a relationship with Jesus. God was my judge and jury. I worshiped Him in fear rather than in love. Trials caused me to fall at God's feet and slowly I did the difficult work of trying to find out who God really is to me and who I am to God. Every step led me to seek Him. And, over time my tender heart dared to open to receive the relationship I didn't think was possible. There is so much to discover in this Heavenly Father and Child relationship--beauty, love, compassion, security, peace, rest, and hope. All of this amazes me every day. I desire to encourage anyone God will allow me to encourage so they too may awaken to such a relationship with the Lord. God says, "Seek me and you will find me when you seek me with your whole heart. I will be found by you." (Jeremiah 29:13-14) I encourage you to open wide your heart and you will be fantastically amazed like me!
As a nurse and believer in Jesus Christ, I advocate for holistic wellness—mind, body, and spirit. Spiritual wellness happens when we awaken to and tend to the needs of our soul. I hope to encourage and inspire women to explore spiritual wellness through a meaningful and intimate relationship with God. While there are many alternative options available to achieve spiritual wellness, I believe the power of God brings true spiritual well-being.
If I profess to share the love of Christ with others, then I need to be aware of what happens when my life-path intersects with another. Who I am and what I bring in that moment may have a profound effect on the other individual. Am I presenting and bringing my best self as my life intersects with the world? My best self happens when I am thriving within my heart and soul and deeply connected to God.

- I love nature. I’ve not lost one bit of my childlike wonder. I look up. I look down. I’m looking for the details.
- I love to ride my bike. What about you? Do you love to ride so fast your elbows are sticking out to the sides like imaginary wings? Do you flatten your back and lower your head for aerodynamics? Do you try to race cardinals?
- I love to explore the margins of the golf course.
- I love to encourage the individual who is unaware of their incredible worth. I know what happens when one fails to realize their life matters.
